Jane Wholey is an Avid/FCP editor who specializes in creating award-winning, compelling videos on subjects as diverse as building a dream house in Tuscon, AZ, to eradicating River Blindness in Burkina Faso. Her work centers on non-profit organizations as well as corporate identity and training videos. She has edited two series for television: Dream House for HGTV, and WeatherVentures for the Weather Channel. Political commercials and documentaries make up the balance of Jane’s work.
Jane has more than 20 years of experience in all facets of video production, from brainstorming the initial concepts, to budgeting, planning, production, editing and distribution of programs. She has written and produced videos for the World Bank, the American Red Cross and the Peace Corps.
Prior to setting out on her own, Jane was production manager for Roland House, production manager for State of the Art, and director of video for O’Keefe Communications, all in Washington, DC. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Spring Hill College and recently completed a Master of Arts degree in Communications at Johns Hopkins University.
